Ochre is the working studio and gallery for landscape artist Richard Brinley. Situated in the historic old quarter of Kirkcudbright near the Tolbooth and Broughton House just a short walk from the Harbour and Kirkcudbright Galleries .

 Ochre Gallery and Studio is a welcoming space where you are invited to view Richard’s paintings of Galloway as well as seeing work in progress and an extensive range of cards and limited edition prints .

Ochre also has the work of other artists and craftspeople on display including  photography from David Whittingham , Stoneware ceramics by Gatehouse potter Annick Laroque and Japanese Woodblock prints from Claire Cameron Smith plus greetings cards from these and more .....You can also pop in to discuss commissioning a painting of your favourite view.
